Abstract
In the title compound, C9H18N2O3.C2H6OS, the dipeptide molecule exists as a zwitterion and the backbone adopts an extended conformation. The peptide unit is trans and shows a slight deviation from planarity [om ega(1) = 174.4(3)degrees]. The leucyl side chain adopts the t(g(+)t) c onformation. The crystal packing gives rise to channels which are occu pied by the disordered DMSO solvent molecules.
