Abstract
A blind equalization algorithm which makes use of the ''Stop'' region of the Stop-and-Go algorithm is proposed. By adaptively updating the t ap weights at the Stop region as well, it is intended to improve the c onvergence property of the Stop-and-Go algorithm. The performance of t he proposed algorithm is compared with the conventional Stop-and-Go al gorithm using various communication channels. Simulation results indic ate the improvement of the convergence speed while maintaining or poss ibly lowering the residual error.
