Abstract
Direct phosphonylalkylidenephosphinylation of nucleophiles is achieved by one-pot mono dialkylphosphonoalkylation of dichloro-phosphates or methylphosphonic dichloride followed, in situ, by nucleophilic substit ution of the chlorine atom of the alkylidenediphosphorylated intermedi ate.
