Abstract
The importance of N.A. Kachinsky's publications on the formation of th e soil structure to the development of the theory of erosion resistanc e of soils is shown, and Kachinskiy's personal contribution to the org anization of studies of the erosion susceptibility of soils at the V.V . Dokuchaev Soil Institute in Moscow and at Moscow University is point ed out.
