Abstract
The effect of various organic fertilizers (wheat and pea straw, manure , green fertilizers-rape, clover) on gray forest soil fertility and yi elds in 5-field rotation has been compared with that of mineral ones-6 0(NPK). Organic fertilizers account for the formation of humus, nitrog en, and phosphorus pool, for the composition of neoformed humous subst ances and nitrites; they exert a positive effect on all the prerequisi tes of soil fertility (biological, agrophysical), so that they increas e yields in rotation by 3.2...5.8 c/ha fodder units.
