The effect of different combinations of what straw with (NH4NO3)-N-15-
N-15 having a wide range of C:N ratio-2.5 to 108, on the dynamics of m
obilization-immobilization of fertilizer nitrogen, as well as on its l
osses and utilization by plants has been studied in a vegetation exper
iment on gray forest soils. The importance of the phytomass carbon for
stabilizing the soil nitrogen cycle is shown. Correlations between im
mobilization processes of N-15 of fertilizer and mobilization of soil
N-14 are discussed.
