A. Osvet et I. Sildos, INTERPRETATION OF THE EXTRA LARGE INHOMOGENEOUS BROADENING IN THE OPTICAL-SPECTRA OF HEAVILY NEUTRON-IRRADIATED LAB-TYPE DIAMOND, Radiation effects and defects in solids, 136(1-4), 1995, pp. 1137-1141
The optical properties of a neutron-irradiated laB-type natural diamon
d were investigated in the visible and the infrared spectral range. Co
ncentration of the nitrogen aggregates was estimated. Spectral hole bu
rning method was applied to investigate the relations between differen
t spectral lines in the luminescence spectra Extralarge inhomogeneous
broadening of the 774 and 813 nn lines is explained by the high concen
tration of nitrogen in an aggregate form.
