Abstract
The paper discusses the scientific work of two great - although at fir st sight very different - Psychological Investigators: Ernst August Do lle and Adolf-Ernst Meyer. First amazing preliminary results from the Hamburg Idealtypic Psychoanalytic Experiment (HIPE) of Meyer and his c oworkers are presented. The interpretation of these results is underta ken within the scientific framework of Ernst August Dolle.
