Abstract
This article presents the attitudes toward CSR during and after the 19 73 Yom Kippur War, the 1982 Lebanon War and the Intifada. It analyzes the transition from denial to recognition which evolved following the Yom Kippur War. Several explanations are suggested and discussed, incl uding structural, political and psychoanalytic perspectives.
