Abstract
This paper extends averaging theory for power electronic systems to in clude feedback controlled converters, New averaging techniques based o n the integral equation description provide theoretical justification for commonly used averaging methods, The new theory provides a basis f or answering fundamental questions about the averaging approximation, A ripple estimate expression is presented, along with the simulation r esults for a feedback controlled boost converter.
