USE OF 1-(2-NAPHTHYLSULFONYLOXY)-6-NITROBENZOTRIAZOLE AS A NOVEL COUPLING REAGENT IN THE SOLID-PHASE SYNTHESIS OF BIOACTIVE PEPTIDES

1-(2-Naphthylsulfonyloxy)-6-nitrobenzotriazole (N-NSBt) has been emplo yed as an efficient coupling reagent in the solid-phase synthesis of b ioactive peptides: the peptides were obtained in good yields using bot h Boc as well as Fmoc chemistry of peptide synthesis.
