Abstract
A pure single crystal has been grown by the Solute Rich Liquid-Crystal Pulling Method (SRL-CP method), and a superconductive twin-free YBa2C u3Ox single crystal has been obtained by means of annealing the twinne d crystal at 400 degrees C with a uni-axial compression in an oxygen a tmosphere. SQUID magnetization-temperature measurement on the twin-fre e crystal shows the onset T-c at 88 K. Single-crystal X-ray technique was used to conduct structure refinement of the crystal at 296 K (room temperature).
