Abstract
To investigate interlayer coupling and spin polarization in multilayer s, Co/Au multilayers in which Sn-119 layers are inserted into Au layer s have been prepared and Sn-119 Mossbauer spectra measured. Large hype rfine fields are observed, which means that Sn atoms experience magnet ic fields and thus spin polarization induced by Co layers exists in Au layers.
