Abstract
The growth of To films deposited on fee Co has been studied by Auger s pectroscopy and LEED. Interdiffusion is observed. An ex-situ polar Ker r magnetometry study on capped films shows the occurrence of perpendic ular anisotropy and ferrimagnetic coupling between Co and Tb moments.
