Abstract
The optical and magneto-optical properties of MBE-grown Fe/Cr superlat tices on MgO(100) have been investigated. A new method based on measur ements of the frequency and angular dependences of the equatorial MOKE is suggested to define an initial angle theta(0) between the magnetic moments of adjacent Fe layers. A non-collinear magnetic structure is found to be formed in the explored Fe/Cr superlattices, with the magni tude of theta(0) depending on the Cr layer thickness.
