Abstract
Iron (Fe) and europium monoxide (EuO) were multilayered by an ultra-hi gh vacuum deposition method. X-ray diffraction and Eu-151 Mossbauer me asurements have confirmed the formation of a single phase EuO. An anom alous temperature dependence of the magnetization suggests antiferroma gnetic coupling at the interface and spin-glass-like behavior in the F e layers.
