Abstract
The giant magnetoresistance effect has been investigated for NiFeCo/Cu multilayers (MLs) with Co contents more than 60 at%. The Go-rich NiFe Co/Cu MLs exhibit large MR ratio above 20% by applying fields within 1 0 kA/m and show much better thermal stability than Ni66Fe16Co18/Cu MLs . Furthermore, Ni24Fe16Co60/Cu MLs exhibit a field sensitivity (0.7%/O e) slightly higher than Ni66Fe16Co18/Cu MLs after annealing at 300 deg rees C.
