Sensitivity detection of oxygen at high temperature is reported using
a simple spectrometer based on a DFB-laser. Measurements for the (R)R(
N = 7) and the (R)R(N = 9) magnetic dipole transitions of the b(1) Sig
ma(g)(+) (v' = 0) <-- X(3) Sigma(g)(-) (v '' = 0) band at 761 nm were
performed from a few Torr to atmospheric pressure and for different te
mperatures up to 400 degrees C. Self-broadening and N-2-broadening coe
fficients were extracted, and their dependence on the temperature was
investigated.
