A method has been developed for determining 20-30 mg of barium in the
presence of copper and yttrium by coulometric titration by ethylenedia
minetetraacetic acid with 1 amperometric detection. A TMP-4 carbon clo
th and a carbon fiber of the same quality served as generating and ind
icator electrodes, respectively. The titration was carried out at cons
tant potentials of both generating and indicator electrodes. The error
was not higher than 0.5%, RSD = 0.5%.
