Abstract
A study on nutrient management in summer groundnut (Arachis hypogaea L .)-rainy-season pearlmillet [Pennisetum glaucum (L.) R. Br. emend. Stu ntz] crop rotation was conducted on a sandy-loam soils of middle Gujar at during 1987-88 and 1988-89. Both the crops responded to the applica tion of nitrogen and phosphorus with increasing trend. The residual ef fect of N applied to summer groundnut on the succeeding K rainy-season pearlmillet was observed only in the first year. The maximum yearly n et return was accrued under highest level of N and P fertilizers in bo th the crops.
