Abstract
The fabrication with locally available materials, installation and tes ting of a line-axis compound parabolic concentrating solar energy coll ector is described. The system is 2.0 metres long with a 0.2 metre exi t aperture. The acceptance half-angle is 36 degrees, and the angle of inclination is 26 degrees 10'.
