Abstract
The accurate analysis of Social impact indicators, as Health system si tuation, educational level, social relationships, economic situation, and ethic habits allows to find the correct energy supply system solut ion for each social situation. The Social Impact Method of Energy Anal ysis (SIMEA) correlates input data (current social indicators, such as economic, technological, environmental, and social conditions) to out put data, that is feasible, suitable and acceptable energy supply solu tions. The rational use of energy is considered and studied as a cultu ral choice. Always considering that the objective of energy supply sys tems as well as any other technological economic, political solution i s to guarantee the development of the Society, for obtaining the socia l growth of mankind. The SIMEA enables the researcher to: 1. Understan d social characteristics; 2. Match the current conditions of a communi ty with energy requirements and technological solutions; 3. Find the a ppropriate energy supply system.
