Abstract
Titanium aluminides are good candidates for aeronautical applications, but their low ductility penalizes these alloys. The present work deal s with the texture characterization that influences mechanical propert ies. The texture is a {Ill}<uvw> fiber texture, the sharpness of which increases with the temperature of heat treatments. gamma monolithic g rains have also the same texture.
