K. Stott et J. Keeler, GRADIENT-ENHANCED ONE-DIMENSIONAL HETERONUCLEAR NOE EXPERIMENT WITH H-1 DETECTION, Magnetic resonance in chemistry, 34(7), 1996, pp. 554-558
A new experiment, HETGOESY, is described in which C-13-H-1 NOE enhance
ments are detected directly on H-1 The experiment uses pulsed field gr
adients for coherence selection, thus completely avoiding the problems
associated with difference spectroscopy. It is shown, both theoretica
lly and experimentally, that the new experiment has sensitivity advant
ages over the conventional C-13{H-1} steady-state NOE difference exper
iment. The new experiment also has the advantage that it uses selectiv
e excitation in the generally better resolved decoupled C-13 spectrum
rather than the H-1 spectrum.
