Abstract
Formulas are derived for the rates of change of the number density, mo mentum, and energy of species due to inelastic and reactive collisions , valid for finite values of the Mach number of the relative motion of the reacting species and for different temperatures of the species. T he Wang Chang-Uhlenbeck-de Beer approach is employed. With the aim to make the obtained results more practicable, explicit formulas are give n relating the introduced kinetic coefficients to the reaction rate co nstant, rather than to the reaction cross section.
