Abstract
A review concerns latest knowledge of reactions in which hydrogenolysi s of some bonds in molecules of organic compounds is carried out with a donor molecule as a source of hydrogen. The method finds its applica tion in transformation of organic compounds replacing the classical hy drogenolyses with molecular hydrogen. The hydrogen donors most often u sed and examples of their applications are given.
