The simultaneous solubility of ammonia and carbon dioxide in aqueous s
olutions of ammonium sulfate and mixtures containing ammonium- and sod
ium sulfate was measured at temperatures from 313 K to 393 K and total
pressures up to 10 MPa. Experimental results are reported and compare
d with correlations and predictions. Predicted results in most cases a
gree well with experimental data. (C) 1996 Academic Press Limited
