Comparison of nucleotide sequences of the growth hormone gene of two p
opulations of bleak from the Main Donau Rivers, Southern Germany, reve
aled an A/T point mutation resulting in an AluI restriction fragment l
ength polymorphism. The frequencies of alleles T and A are 0.95/0.05 i
