A dynamic mathematical model for the copolymerization of olefins with
Ziegler-Natta and metallocene catalysts in a series of continuous stir
red-tank slurry-reactors was developed. The model accounts for the pre
sence of multiple active site types and can be used to predict reactor
productivity, molecular weight and copolymer composition averages.
