Abstract
The product of the condensation of asymmetric dimethylhydrazine with c hloro-derivatives of alkane hydrocarbons was shown to be well compatib le with mineral oils and to possess high thickening ability. The intro duction of this product into industrial oil I-20A affords low-componen t preservative compositions that protect carbon steel from atmospheric corrosion with an efficiency of up to 96-98%; the volume coefficient of water solubilization is higher than 0.4.
