Abstract
Stelidota adsuffusa, new species, from Florida and the Bahamas is desc ribed, illustrated, and included in a new key with three previously kn own North American species. Lectotypes are designated for S. coenosa E richson and S. ruderata Erichson from the West Indies. The name S. fer ruginea Reitter is newly placed in synonymy under S. Coenosa Erichson.
