MISCELLANEOUS NOTES ON BUPRESTIDAE AND SCHIZOPODIDAE OCCURRING IN THEUNITED-STATES AND CANADA, INCLUDING DESCRIPTIONS OF PREVIOUSLY UNKNOWN SEXES OF 6 AGRILUS CURTIS (COLEOPTERA)

New distribution and/or biological information is presented for 67 spe cies in the following genera of Buprestidae: Acmaeodera Eschscholtz, A ctenodes Lacordaire, Agrilus Curtis, Anthaxia Eschscholtz, Brachys Sol ier, Chrysobothris Eschscholtz, Cypriacis Casey, Dicerca Eschscholtz, Lampetis Spinola, Mastogenius Solier, Melanophila Eschscholtz, Micrast a Kerremans, Polycesta Solier, Spectralia Casey, and Taphrocerus Solie r and Schizopus laetus LeConte of the Schizopodidae. Unknown sexes are described of the following: Agrilus diospyroides Knull, A. eleanorae Fisher, A. horni Kerremans, A. ohioensis Knull, A. osburni Knull, and A. pubifrons Fisher. Melanophila arcuata Fall is placed in new synonym y under M. lecontei Obenberger.
