Abstract
Digital signal processing algorithms were applied to diode laser frequ ency modulation spectrometers in the near- and mid-infrared spectral r anges. These algorithms include digital bandpass filters, a Wiener fil ter, a matched filter, and a Kalman filter. Digital signal processing is easy to implement and adapt to all experimental configurations with out any physical modifications or additions to the spectrometer.
