Ma. Belarra et al., EXPANDING THE WORKING CONCENTRATION RANGE IN GRAPHITE-FURNACE ATOMIC-ABSORPTION SPECTROMETRY - STUDY OF NONRESONANCE LINES OF TIN, Spectrochimica acta, Part B: Atomic spectroscopy, 51(7), 1996, pp. 697-705
With the aim of extending the working concentration range for tin in g
raphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry (GFAAS), the analytical
performance of several non-resonance lines of this element were studi
ed, using atomization from the tube wall and from the platform. The us
e of these non-resonance lines enables the working range to be extende
d to amounts of tin up to 140 times greater than the upper linear limi
t for the most sensitive line without degrading the precision (measure
d as the relative standard deviation) of the measurement.
