The Orientation Group Monitoring System (OGMS) is a reliable and valid instrument that prospectively monitors cognitive functions through cl earing posttraumatic amnesia. This article describes how the OGMS is e asily incorporated into a daily 30-minute therapeutic orientation grou p. Specifically, we describe the content of the seven subscales that m ake lip the OGMS, how responses are scored, and how weekly aggregate O GMS scores assist clinicians in both medical and programming decisions .
