We expanded the theory for the Semi Classical Approximation, which is
used for estimating an ionization cross section for an isolated atom,
to a form applicable to condensed matters in view of the molecular orb
ital scheme. This is the first estimation of the deviation in ionizati
on cross sections due to differences in chemical environments. The res
ults calculated here can satisfactorily explain a decreasing tendency
in the relative intensities (K(1)L(1)/K(1)L(0)) for the observed FK al
pha satellite spectra emitted from fluorides, MF(2)(M = Mg, Fe, Co, Ni
, Zn), with a rutile structure.
