Abstract
Random perturbations of Markov processes on systems of contractive map s are considered. The existence of a unique invariant measure for the randomly perturbed process is proved under a very weak assumption on p erturbations. In particular, the proof holds for the full class of tra nslationally invariant perturbations. (C) 1996 American Institute of P hysics.
