Abstract
Two new norditerpenoid alkaloids, hemsleyanidine (1) and isohemsleyani dine (2), have been isolated from the roots of Aconitum hemsleyanum va r. circinatum, along with a known compound talatizamine. The structure s of the new compounds were established by chemical and spectroscopic methods (including H-1-, C-13- and 2-D nmr techniques).
