Abstract
A prog ram to observe millimetre-wave molecular transitions in a numbe r of southern-sky molecular clouds is under way. Molecular clouds in b oth the Galaxy and tile Magellanic Clouds are included in the sample. The aim of the program is to build a body of observational data which can be used to derive molecular abundances in southern-sky molecular c louds.
