Abstract
The parameters like surface area, anion content and OH- ion exchange c apacity of chemically-pretreated (HClO4 and CH(3)COOR) hydrous zirconi um(IV) oxide were determined. The sorption of aqueous 2,4-dinitropheno l and picric acid on the substrates of surface-phase pH 3.0-7.5 was fo und depend on pH of the substrates, time and temperature. The mechanis m of sorption has been shown to be anion - exchange sorption and weak chemical interactions.
