Abstract
A technique For the adaption of a complex-gain baseband predistorter i s proposed, using only a single coherent downconversion in the Feedbac k path. Despite this reduction in complexity when compared to previous implementations, the adaption process can still correct for both AM/A M and AM/PM nonlinearities in the RF power amplifier. Practical result s from a 220 MHz transmitter are given.
