Abstract
A parallel PN code acquisition technique for slotted-mode preamble sea rch in a CDMA reverse link is presented. For received PN codes with di fferent signal-to-noise ratios (SNRs), this scheme provides a sub-opti mal threshold Value such that the mean acquisition time is minimised.
