Abstract
The delay-locked loop (DLL) is a device that is often used for PN-code tracking to synchronise direct sequence spread spectrum (DS-SS) syste ms. A DLL with resynchronising capability, which is more robust agains t loss of lock, is presented, The new scheme has two modes: a normal t racking mode and a resynchronising mode. The structure of the new loop and its function are described.
