Abstract
This report documents the first case of biliary coccidiosis in the fer ret. Multiple life stages of a coccidian parasite, including meronts, gametocytes, and oocysts were present in the epithelium of hepatic bil e ducts and the gallbladder. Based on morphologic, characteristics, th e organisms were identified as Eimeria sp., most likely E. furonis.
