Abstract
The paper analyses ecological problems resulting from the use of rocke t and spacecraft systems and discusses questions relating to the provi sion of ecological safety in space. The conclusions and recommendation s of a working group on ecological safety set up by the Joint Committe e of the Russian Federation Security Council are presented.
