Abstract
Work function measurements indicate that electrochemically synthesized poly(3-methyl thiophene) films exhibit p- and n-type conducting natur es when doped anodically and cathodically with anions and cations, res pectively. This has been further confirmed by the conductivity measure ments together with the current-voltage measurements with and without illumination for the doped polymer films sandwiched between dissimilar metals.
