Abstract
This paper describes the current techniques for percutaneous translumi nal angioplasty (PTA) of peripheral arteries, summarizes the long-term results of the procedure, and identifies the variables that are predi ctive of long-term success of PTA performed in the iliac and femoropop liteal segments.
