Abstract
Nanostructured boehmite and Al2O3 films were prepared by the sol-gel r oute. Microstructural features, such as phase content, grain orientati on and grain diameter, were observed. The relationship between the tra nsmittance in the visible to near infrared range and the film microstr ucture is discussed.
