A. Parodi et al., INTRALESIONAL NATURAL INTERFERON-ALPHA IN THE TREATMENT OF CROSTI LYMPHOMA (PRIMARY CUTANEOUS B FOLLICULAR CENTER-CELL LYMPHOMA) - REPORT OF 4 CASES, Journal of dermatological treatment, 7(2), 1996, pp. 105-107
We describe four patients with Crosti's lymphoma, a non-Hodgkin's B-ce
ll lymphoma of follicular centre origin, treated with intralesional na
tural interferon alpha (IFN), In all patients the lesions cleared, Two
patients had a clinical relapse but their lesions cleared after a sec
ond course of therapy, Intralesional injections are thought to have a
direct action on tumoral cells as well as a systemic effect, Given the
high rate of relapse after radiotherapy (75%), natural IFN is a promi
sing therapeutic alternative.
