We report the first Cu nuclear magnetic resonance study of the antifer
romagnetic (AF) infinite-layer compound Ca(0.85)SR(0.15)CuO(2) perform
ed between 5.4 and 534.1 K. The major results are: The magnetic moment
s remain parallel to the CuO2 planes, at least up to 400 K. The AF str
ucture has a stronger three-dimensional (3D) character than the quasi-
two-dimensional structures YBa2Cu3O6 and La2CuO4. The critical behavio
r of the sublattice magnetization near T-N (539 K) yields the critical
exponent beta = 0.31(1) indicating a crossover to a 3D structure.
